A Multicultural Virtual Reality Trip
Around the World with
the Kindergarten and the Fourth Grades
Last year every month for 8 months, three rotating fourth grades joined
our four Kindergarten classes for an hour to celebrate as well as study
eight countries and their cultures through
six alternating centers. Using the
classroom calendar to enhance the children’s understanding of time,
order and sequence, a schedule was created that allowed us to focus on
our national holidays, and holidays around the world. Each month
six distinct aspects of a particular country were studied. Click on the flags below to view the virtual centers
